My name is Christine Bernard. When I started at Cook Inlet Native Head Start I was a teacher before I decided to become a Family Advocate. I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and I have worked in this field before attending College. I have also worked in the Social Services field for many years as a Counselor for abused and neglected children. I enjoy working with families and their children. I have 3 children of my own, my oldest daughter who is 12, my girl and boy twins who are 7 years old. I am Inupiaq Eskimo, was born in Anchorage and grew up on the Kenai Peninsula. I have lived in Alaska all my life but hope someday to venture on.
